Pray
We begin our prayer:In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.
V. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Reflect
After the reading, take some time to reflect on one or more of the following questions:
Suffering is a gift from God. Recount one occasion of how you lived through a period of darkness in your soul, and learned valuables lesson from it.
Jesus said: “Whoever would come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Mt 16:24-25) How would you practice this teaching better so as to come closer to Jesus and to his Blessed Mother?
